How to optimize the operation of air flotation equipment (DAF)
Dissolved air pressure: Adjusting the dissolved air pressure can control the size and number of bubbles, thereby affecting the flotation effect. Generally speaking, a higher dissolved air pressure will produce smaller bubbles, increase the contact area between bubbles and suspended matter, and improve separation efficiency.
Reflux ratio: The reflux ratio refers to the ratio of the amount of dissolved air water reflux to the amount of treated water. Properly increasing the reflux ratio can increase the air content in the dissolved air water, increase the number of bubbles, and help improve the flotation effect. However, too high a reflux ratio will also increase energy consumption and operating costs.
Surface load: Surface load refers to the amount of water treated per unit area of the flotation tank per unit time. Controlling the surface load within a suitable range can ensure that the floating body has enough rising time and improve the separation effect.
