The stable operation of the Shallow Air floatation system is inseparable from scientific and reasonable maintenance. The following are its key maintenance points:
1. Dissolved air system maintenance
The dissolved air system is one of the core parts of shallow flotation. For air compressors, it is necessary to regularly check the tightness of the belts, the quality and quantity of the lubricating oil. Generally, the lubricating oil should be replaced every 500 hours to prevent parts wear due to poor lubrication. At the same time, pay close attention to the operating sound and vibration of the air compressor, and shut down the machine for inspection and maintenance in time when abnormalities occur. For dissolved air tanks, it is necessary to regularly clean the impurities and sediments in the tanks to prevent them from clogging the dissolved air pipeline and affecting the dissolved air effect. A comprehensive cleaning can be performed once a quarter. In addition, the pressure gauge and safety valve on the dissolved air tanks should be regularly calibrated to ensure their accuracy and reliability to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
2. Release system maintenance
The normal operation of the releaser has a great influence on the flotation effect. The releaser should be checked frequently to see if it is blocked by impurities. This can be determined by observing the size and uniformity of the released bubbles. If the bubbles are found to be uneven or have become significantly larger, the releaser should be cleaned in time. When cleaning, special cleaning tools such as a fine brush or a high-pressure water gun can be used to carefully remove internal blockages. At the same time, pay attention to check whether the connection parts of the releaser are well sealed. If they are loose, they should be tightened in time to prevent the dissolved air from leaking and affecting the flotation effect.
3. Flotation tank maintenance
The scraper device of the flotation tank should be kept in good condition. Check the wear of the scraper plate regularly. When the scraper plate wears beyond a certain limit, it should be replaced in time to avoid incomplete scraping. Check the tension of the transmission chain or belt of the scraper device. Too loose or too tight will affect its normal operation. Generally, it should be adjusted every two months. The dirt and sediment on the wall and bottom of the flotation tank should be cleaned regularly. A combination of manual and mechanical methods can be used, such as first cleaning the wall with a brush and detergent, and then using a sludge suction pump to remove the sludge at the bottom of the tank to ensure the effective volume and treatment efficiency of the flotation tank.
4. Water quality monitoring and parameter adjustment
Continuously monitor the inlet and outlet water quality, focusing on indicators such as suspended solids, grease, and COD. Adjust operating parameters such as the pressure and flow of dissolved air water in a timely manner according to changes in water quality. When the inlet water quality deteriorates and the suspended solids increase, appropriately increase the dissolved air water pressure to produce more and smaller bubbles to enhance the flotation effect. At the same time, reasonably control the residence time of sewage in the flotation tank, generally adjusted between 15 and 30 minutes according to the amount of water treated and the water quality, to ensure that the sewage has enough flotation separation time, thereby ensuring long-term stable and efficient operation of shallow flotation.
