The scraper drive equipment is suitable for the sedimentation/thickening tank with round (square) structure. The bridge type can be half bridge type or full bridge type. The scraper system consists of the drive equipment, center (for half bridge type only), driving platform, walkway, main shaft rotating frame (for half bridge type only) or scraper shaft (for full bridge type only), water inlet baffle, scraper arm, scum baffle, overflow weir, scum scraper, scum bucket and scraper. The treated water flows into the center of the tank and is introduced into the sedimentation tank through the water inlet baffle. Under static conditions, the suspended matter in the water slowly condenses together. Solids with larger specific gravity, activated sludge or concentrated sludge will settle to the bottom of the tank. Through the action of the scraper, the sludge is collected and discharged to the sludge well in the center of the tank. In addition, substances with smaller specific gravity such as grease, fine rubber feathers, will float to the surface of the water to form scum, which will be collected by the scum scraper and discharged to the scum bucket for separate treatment.
The sludge scrapers and equipment is a complete machine composed of an electric motor, a worm gear reducer, a planetary gear reducer, and a pinion and an inner ring gear seal. The ring gear has a complete bearing assembly, the tooth processing accuracy is JIS6 or above, and the material hardness is 250 to 300BHN. The bearing joint part is precision machined, and the bearing assembly is combined with an anti-fouling seal. The final pinion is made of carbon steel or alloy steel heat-treated and installed on the output shaft of the planetary gear reducer. Its material hardness is 250 to 350BHN, and the tooth surface is hardened to 52 to 60HRC hardness. The final reducer gear and bearing are immersed in an oil bath in a dustproof housing, and are equipped with oil pipes, oil needles, and oil drain valves. The ring gear is cast from ASTM A27 spheroidal graphite cast iron, and all joints and fitting parts are precision machined and clamped.
